Contemporary Oasis
A modern home needed a backyard that matched its style while staying easy to maintain.
Project Overview
The homeowners wanted a backyard that felt modern, organized, and easy to enjoy.
They envisioned a space where family and friends could gather around the pool, relax under the covered patio, and spend more time outside without worrying about constant maintenance. Green Grass designed a complete outdoor living space that combines clean lines, practical features, and year-round enjoyment. Project timeline: 12 weeks.

The homeowners wanted a backyard that matched the style of their home while remaining simple to maintain. The space needed areas for entertaining, dining, and relaxing, along with privacy from neighboring properties. Every feature needed to feel intentional and work together as part of one cohesive design. Just as important, the landscape needed to stay attractive throughout the year without requiring extensive upkeep.
The Plan
Green Grass developed a design focused on modern outdoor living. The plan centered around a swimming pool and spa, with a covered patio and outdoor kitchen positioned to overlook the pool and create a comfortable gathering space nearby. Artificial turf was selected to provide a clean, usable lawn without the maintenance of traditional grass. A contemporary fence and a linear row of Hornbeam trees helped define the space, add privacy, and reinforce the home’s modern architecture.
The Installation
Every feature was designed to support both entertaining and everyday enjoyment. The completed project included:

- Covered patio
- Outdoor kitchen

The Result
The finished space feels like an extension of the home. The covered patio and outdoor kitchen make entertaining easy, while the pool and spa provide a place to relax throughout the season. Artificial turf keeps the property looking clean and green with minimal upkeep, and the fence and privacy plantings create a comfortable sense of enclosure. The result is a modern outdoor living space that offers the beauty of a high-end landscape with less maintenance and more time to enjoy it.
